NEWFOUNDLAND:
Saturday will be nice across most of Newfoundland. Some rain will move onto the west coast and the Northern Peninsula late in the afternoon. A quick shot of rain is expected on Sunday morning across the Island, with the southern Avalon Peninsula and Burin Peninsula holding onto the rain for a bit longer. Rainfall amounts will generally be between 5 and 15 mm.
Highs near 10 degrees are expected on Saturday except for the Northern Peninsula, which will be cooler. On Sunday, temperatures will range from 9 to 16.
LABRADOR:
On Saturday, snow will move across Labrador. Between tonight and Saturday, the western areas of Labrador could see 10 to 15 cm of snow. 5 to 10 cm is possible for coastal areas and the Happy Valley-Goose Bay region. The snow will gradually end on Saturday night. More snow will move into Labrador on Sunday afternoon.
Highs on Saturday will be between zero and plus 4. Highs from 1 to 7 are expected on Sunday.
