Storm causing damage and power outages in Newfoundland

The Avalon Peninsula will see 30 to 50 mm today.
Southern, eastern, and northeastern Newfoundland will see wind gusts between 90 and 120 km/h today. The wind has already caused damage and multiple power outages.
Significant amounts of snow is expected across the west coast. For Green Bay - White Bay and the Northern Peninsula East 20 to 30 cm of snow is expected. Western Newfoundland will receive 5 to 15 cm of snow this morning until this evening. Channel-Port aux Basques, Burgeo, and Ramea will see 10 to 15 cm of snow along with wind gusts from 100 to 110 km/h.
Southeastern Labrador from L'Anse-au-Claire to Cartwright will receive up to 25 cm of snow inland and over higher terrain, with lesser amounts along the coast. Gusts from 80 to 100 km/h are expected along the Labrador Straits.
Northeastern and eastern Newfoundland is seeing large waves and pounding surf that is producing higher than normal water levels. Wave heights of 7 to 9 metres are expected this morning and Monday morning.
Every ferry serving the province is cancelled today. Delays can persist into tomorrow. There are numerous flight delays and cancellations at provincial airports.
