An area of low-pressure system will bring rain, a rain-snow transition zone, and localized snow across Newfoundland on Thanksgiving.
The southern and eastern portions of the island can expect steady rain.
A narrow, transitional band of mixed rain and snow stretches across northern sections of the island with snow in the north. Further north into parts of the Northern Peninsula, precipitation shifts entirely to snow.
