If you have any weekend plans, you may want to reconsider. Current model guidance suggests that an area of low pressure will move across the province Sunday and Sunday night.

The low may bring moderate to heavy rain to the Island and snow to Labrador and strong winds are expected.

The low will also bring a bump up in temperatures. Highs across the Island could approach plus 10 degrees.

It's still a bit too early to provide specifics on how much precipitation is expected.
