A wet and windy day ahead for parts of the province

Rainfall amounts of 2 mm are expected late in the day in Corner Brook. Port aux Basques will see rainfall amounts of 5 to 10 mm and wind gusts up to 110 km/h. Marystown is looking at 2 mm later today with wind gusts up to 60. There is a chance of showers in central and on the Avalon Peninsula. Conditions will be fair on the Great Northern Peninsula. Highs will range from 10 to 13.

Across Labrador, it will be wet in western areas. Labrador City will see rainfall amounts of 5 to 10 mm while Churchill Falls will see 2 mm. There is a chance of showers in Happy Valley-Goose Bay and Nain. Sun and cloud is expected for the southeastern coast. Expect highs from 7 to 14.
