A warm up followed by a cooldown

A weather system will move across the province on Sunday and Monday. The low will push temperatures across Newfoundland close to 10 degrees on Monday.

The warmup will be short lived, because Arctic air won't be far behind. On Tuesday, temperatures in Labrador will be near minus 30 and across Newfoundland, highs will be lucky to hit minus 10. The cold weather will linger for much of next week.
