A few afternoon showers are on the way

The day is starting pleasantly along the west coast, but showers will move in late this afternoon, bringing 2 to 4 mm of rain; rain will continue overnight. There is a chance of showers in central Newfoundland and along the south coast. On the Avalon, 2 to 4 mm of rain is expected this afternoon. Highs from 11 to 16 are expected.

A mix of sun and cloud is expected along the coast and in central Labrador, and there is a chance of showers in western areas. Highs will range from 6 to 13.
