Officials from NL Hydro and Newfoundland Power are warning that rotating power outages are possible due to issues with the Bay d’Espoir hydroelectric generating plant. Customers are asked to conserve power to prevent an overload on the system. The current electricity supply is getting close to maximum capacity.
