Depending on the sky conditions, you could see the Aurora Borealis tonight and tomorrow night across the province.

A major geomagnetic storm watch is in effect due to a moderate solar flare, which is associated with a significant ejection of the Sun's material on Friday.

Newfoundland and most of Labrador sits in the Sub-auroral zone, which is currently seeing active space weather.

Over the next 24 hours, conditions will be more unstable with stormy conditions expected.
