WEEKEND OUTLOOK: Wet and cool for most of the province

Saturday

Rain will end for most areas in the morning, then it will be cloudy with a chance of showers. Along the south coast, 2 to 4 mm of rain is expected. The west coast will continue to see rain and snow. Highs from 1 to 7 are expected.


In Labrador, snow in western areas with about 2 to 4 cm in the forecast. Coastal areas will see rain, with snow inland and over higher terrain. Temperatures will be from 1 to 4.


Sunday

Generally, a mix of sun and cloud is expected across Newfoundland on Sunday. Daytime highs will range from 2 to 6.


Some flurries are expected across Labrador City, and rain for Nain. Elsewhere, fair skies are expected. Temperatures will be near freezing.
