Saturday

Expect a relatively mild day for Newfoundland and Labrador with highs around +2 to +4 °C in many inland and eastern areas, with overnight lows dropping to about -2 to -4°C, depending on cloud cover.


Skies may vary between cloudy and partly sunny, with a chance of precipitation. The west coast of the Island could pick up 2 cm of snow.


Wind speeds are likely modest, but near-coast and elevated areas could see slightly stronger gusts.


Sunday

Guidance for Sunday shows a bit of a shift with overall cooling relative to Saturday, with daytime highs nearer 0 to +2°C, and overnight lows potentially falling to -5 to -8°C, especially inland or away from the coast.


Most areas will see a mix of sun and cloud. There will be a chance of flurries along the west coast.
