Weekend Outlook: Mostly nice for Saturday

With several events happening across the province this weekend, the forecast is exceptionally important.

Saturday

We're looking at a mix of sun and cloud across Newfoundland. There is a chance of showers in the afternoon on the Northern Peninsula and the southern Avalon. It will be 17 in St. John's, 20 in Grand Falls-Windsor, and 19 in Corner Brook.

Generally sunny skies are expected to start across Labrador, and clouds will build in through the day with a chance of afternoon showers. It will be 20 in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, 15 in Labrador City and 16 in Hopedale.

Sunday

A mix of sun and cloud is expected across the Island portion of the province. Temperatures will reach 20 in St. John's, 23 in Grand Falls-Windsor, and 22 in Corner Brook.

It will be wet with showers across most of Labrador. Temperatures will reach 20 in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, 11 in Labrador City and 13 in Hopedale.
