There will be a lot less snow hanging around by the end of this coming week.

Models are hinting at a warming trend beginning on Sunday. Temperatures for the Island portion of the province will be between 5 and 10 degrees this week for daytime highs.

The warm temperatures will result in significant snowmelt, which could lead to some localized flooding. Be sure to clear storm drains near your home.

Unfortunately, our friends in Labrador will not be part of this warm-up.
