This weekend is the unofficial start to summer for many folks. We know that snow is not uncommon during the "24th of May Weekend," but this weekend actually doesn't look too bad. Without further ado, here is the long weekend forecast.
Saturday
The weekend will start out nicely for the Island half of the province. Sun and cloud is expected. Labrador will also see sun and cloud with spotty showers. Highs on the Island will be pleasant with 11 in St. John's, 16 in Grand Falls-Windsor, and 10 in Corner Brook. Highs in the mid single digits are expected across Labrador.
Sunday
On Sunday, conditions will start out fair but will deteriorate as the day progresses, and showers will move in late in the day for the Island from west to east and in the morning across Labrador. Temperatures will be a couple of degrees cooler on Sunday.
Monday
Victoria Day will be wet as a low pushes through. Most all areas will see rain from this event. Temperatures will continue to fall on Monday.
