Unsettled weekend ahead for the province

Over the past few days, we've seen nice weather across most of the province. As we head into the weekend, that all changes.

Saturday

On Saturday, there will be a risk of showers across most of Newfoundland and some steadier rain pushing across Labrador. Temperatures across the Island will reach between 7 and 19, and highs from 8 to 22 are expected in Labrador.

Sunday

An area of low pressure will push across Newfoundland on Sunday, bringing some more moderate rain, which will help somewhat with the fire risk. The low will be accompanied by some gusty winds. Temperatures will range between 4 and 14.

Labrador will stay mostly dry. Highs between 6 and 16 are expected.
