Unsettled weather is expected this weekend across NL

An area of low pressure will move across Newfoundland on Saturday and bring a mix of rain, freezing rain, and snow to portions of the province.

The southeastern sections of Labrador, snow is expected and it will change to freezing rain Saturday afternoon. It's a bit too early to provide specifics but areas such as Happy Valley-Goose Bay could see significant snow.

Mostly rain is expected across Newfoundland. Rain will start on Friday night and continue until Saturday night. Some areas of Newfound could see 10-15 mm of rain, however, significant amounts are not expected.
