It will be an unsettled Remembrance Day across Newfoundland and Labrador, with rain and strong winds for Newfoundland and mixed precipitation across Labrador.

For coastal areas of Newfoundland, winds will gust between 80 and 100 km/h this afternoon, tonight, and Wednesday. In the Wreckhouse area, gusts to 130 km/h are possible.

Heavy rain is also expected today. The heaviest rain is expected along the south coast of Newfoundland from Channel-Port aux Basques to the Burin Peninsula. In this area, 80 to 130 mm of rain could fall.

In western Labrador, the snow will transition through ice pellets and freezing rain to rain showers around noon today. The freezing rain will change over to rain later this morning in Eagle River. Nain will see snow through the morning and will taper off this afternoon.
