Support for Badger Residents in Grand Falls-Windsor

Grand Falls-Windsor is assisting residents of Badger by providing support and resources during this time. The Joe Byrne Memorial Stadium has been designated as a reception centre for evacuees, with Town staff working alongside the Canadian Red Cross to assist with registration.

To ensure easy and consistent access to the Stadium, Jones Street is closed to all traffic until further notice.

Centennial Field is available for Badger residents who need a secure location to store campers, RVs, snowmobiles, ATVs, and other large items. Security personnel will be on-site 24/7.

Pets are welcome at the reception centre. Pet owners are encouraged to bring a crate or kennel, if possible, to help ensure a safe and comfortable stay.

With increased traffic in the area, all residents are asked to drive with caution and be mindful of others on the road.
