Sunny skies expected for most of the province today

It will be overcast today on the Avalon Peninsula with a risk of showers or drizzle, with areas of fog and a high of just 17. Once you get off the Avalon, summer weather returns with most areas looking at sunny skies and highs near 30 in some areas.

In western Labrador, it will be clear this morning with clouds building this afternoon with a risk of showers and thunderstorms. Happy Valley-Goose Bay will be sunny, while Nain will see sun and cloud with a chance of showers. High temperatures will range from 20 to 31.
