Stormy and warm weather for Tuesday

Windy conditions will persist across Newfoundland today. Rainfall amounts of 5 to 10 mm are expected along the south coast. There is a risk of freezing rain this morning on the Avalon Peninsula and in central areas of Newfoundland. Highs will range from 9 to 13.


Rain and snow are expected in western Labrador and central areas, with amounts of 2 to 4 mm expected. Snowfall amounts of 5 to 10 cm are expected in Nain. Expect highs from 0 to 11.
