State of Emergency Declared in Badger; Evacuation Order Issued for Parts of Town

The Town of Badger has declared a state of emergency and issued an evacuation order for several areas of the community.


The evacuation applies to the following locations:

  • Beothuk Street: civic numbers 8–19 (inclusive)

  • Earle Street: civic numbers 1–9 (inclusive)

  • Maple Street: civic numbers 44–76 and 67–99 (inclusive)

  • River Road: civic number 10


Residents in the affected areas are asked to evacuate and register at the reception centre located at the Badger Community Centre, 19 Maple Street.
