Snow to continue overnight for portions of Newfoundland

On the Avalon, rain will transition back to snow tonight with about 2 cm expected.


Areas from Gander to Clarenville will see 5 to 10 cm of snow overnight. For Grand Falls-Windsor and Interior sections, 2 cm of snow is expected.


Snow will end this evening along the south coast with strong winds continuing. Light snow will also come to an end along the west coast. On the Northern Peninsula, 2 cm of snow is expected for the eastern half of the Peninsula.


Lows will be from minus 11 to minus 5.
