It will be a wet and windy day across most of Newfoundland. Rain is expected for most areas with a general 5 to 10 mm expected. Amounts will be higher along the south coast. Over higher elevations of the west coast, rain could mix with or change to snow. On the Avalon, it will be overcast today with a chance of showers. Highs from 4 to 8 are expected.

Winter is certainly not quite done with Labrador yet. Today, flurries will end in the Labrador City area this morning. In Churchill Falls, a rain and snow mix is expected. Happy Valley-Goose Bay will see 10 mm of rain, and areas of higher terrain could see accumulating snow. Nain is looking at rain today with snow over higher terrain. Highs from 1 to 3 are expected.
