An area of low pressure will push across Newfoundland on Thursday and bring snow and rain to the island with snow expected for most of the island except on the Avalon where rain is expected.


Snow will begin late overnight on the south coast and move northward, likely reaching all areas by Thursday morning.


As the low moves away, snow squalls will develop, lingering through Friday night for some areas.

St. John's 0 cm

Marystown 1-2 cm

Gander 10-15 cm

Grand Falls-Windsor 10-15 cm
