Snow and rain for parts of the province today

Along the west coast, rain is expected with snow over higher terrain, with 5 cm possible on the Northern Peninsula and 10 cm for the Corner Brook area. Winds will gust to 70 km/h.


Central Newfoundland will see 5 to 10 mm of rain, and snow may mix with rain in Grand Falls-Windsor.


On the Avalon, drizzle is expected this morning before clearing this afternoon.


In Happy Valley-Goose Bay, snow will start this morning with 2 cm expected. It will become mixed with rain this afternoon.
