The RCMP in Glovertown is currently responding to a tractor trailer blocking the westbound lanes of the Trans-Canada Highway in the area of Terra Nova National Park, approximately 5 km west of Glovertown.

While the TCH is passable, motorists should expect delays and are asked to drive with extreme caution and patience, especially through the Terra Nova National Park.

Police across the island are reporting hazardous and deteriorating road conditions and limited visibility due to snow. Increasing winds are also impacting travel conditions.

Please consider delaying any immediate travel. If you must travel, please exercise caution and patience and drive according to road and weather conditions.
