Rain, wind, and snow for Thursday?

It will be a rainy Thursday for Newfoundland as an area of low pressure moves across Newfoundland tonight and Thursday.

On the Avalon Peninsula, rainfall amounts of 5 to 10 mm are expected. For most of central Newfoundand and the south coast, amounts of 15 to 25 are expected, and on the Great Northern Peninsula, amounts of 25 to 40 mm could fall.

The winds will also gust to 60 km/h.

The Long Range Mountains on the Great Northern Peninsula could see some snow mixing in, and inland areas on the Baie Verte Peninsula on Thursday afternoon and Thursday night.

Areas in blue indicate snow.
