NL sees increase in influenza cases

There has been a spike in influenza cases in Newfoundland and Labrador. There were 213 cases in the province last week.

Currently there are 58 people in hospital, of those people, nine are in critical care. There have also been three deaths.

The flu vaccination rate is 23.1 percent.
