NL extends studded tire season

The provincial government has extended the studded tire season.
Under the Highway Traffic Act, studded tires are only permitted between November 1 and April 30. Due to the long-term weather forecast, the deadline has been extended this year to May 15.
Motorists are reminded to drive safely and exercise caution at all times.
