Mother's Day Weekend Outlook

Mother's Day is on Sunday, and this weekend, you may want to make indoor plans for Mom.

Saturday

Late on Saturday afternoon, an area of low pressure will begin to spin some rain onto the southwest coast. The Island and Labrador will stay dry for most of the day. Highs across Newfoundland will be between 5 and 20. Temperatures will range between 9 and 12 in Labrador.

Sunday

Rain will be the order of the day on Sunday across the Island. In Labrador, most areas will see snow. Newfoundland will see highs from 2 to 12. Highs across the Big Land will be between 0 and 4.

The west coast and central Newfoundland could see 20 to 40 mm of rain. Some areas of Labrador, particularly southeastern areas, could see 15 to 25 cm of snow.
