Managing water usage in dry weather

The Department of Environment and Climate Change is reminding residents and communities across Newfoundland and Labrador of the potential for water shortages due to seasonal conditions.

Rainfall amounts are significantly down across the province resulting in water shortages in some areas.

You can reduce your water use by:

• Checking for and repairing leaks

• Identifying sources of high-water usage

• Avoiding unnecessary outdoor water use

• Turning off taps when not in use
