On Monday afternoon, snow will move onto the west coast of Newfoundland and into western Labrador.

By Monday night, snow will change to ice pellets and freezing rain over the Island and change to rain by Tuesday morning.

Portions of Newfoundland, particularly the south coast, could see 5 to 10 mm of freezing rain. Snowfall amounts along the west coast of the Island could reach 5 cm. And in western areas of Labrador, 15 to 20 cm of snow is possible.
