Daylight saving time begins on Sunday, March 8, when clocks are set one hour ahead at 2:00 a.m.


It is a good practice to change the batteries in smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors when manually adjusting clocks.

Households or cabins that have a wood, oil or propane fuel-fired appliance should also have a carbon monoxide detector installed on each level of the structure.
