Kingston Fire

The fire is 9127 ha in size. With cooler temperatures and a chance of showers, it could see some help fighting the fire.

The incident command centre has been moved to Salmon Cove. There are 80 Canadian Forces Firefighters, 20 firefighters from Ontario, and crews from this province.

The plan today is to have helicopters on site and six water bombers. Due to fire behaviour, air assets cannot get there yet. Crews are on the northern flank.

Cabot Academy School in Western Bay has been lost. It was a Kindergarten to Grade Six facility.

Paddy's Pond Fire

The fire is just over 300 ha in size. The weather is expected to help fight the blaze. Today, there are helicopters, Canadian Armed Forces Personnel and 30 ground crew. There are fire guards in place. The fire continues to be out of control.

Martin Lake Fire

This fire is 2180 ha in size and has not extended beyond the perimeter. Rain is expected today.

Cabins have been sprayed in the area. There are air assets in place today and 30 ground crews.
