Evacuation order issued for Small Point–Adam’s Cove–Blackhead–Broad Cove and Kingston

A mandatory evacuation order has been ordered for the Towns of Small Point–Adam’s Cove–Blackhead–Broad Cove and Kingston due to a wildfire.

The wildfire is approximately one kilometre from the community.

Water bombers, helicopters and ground crews are all working on fire suppression.

A reception centre has been set up at Persalvic School Complex in Victoria.
