Daylight Saving Time ends tonight

It's that time of year again when Daylight Saving Time ends.

Tonight at 2:00 a.m., Newfoundland and Labrador will switch to Standard time at 2:00 a.m., meaning clocks turn back by one hour.

When adjusting clocks, residents are encouraged to take the opportunity to replace the batteries in smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors.
