Avalon to see snow on Thursday

A band of snow will set up across the Avalon Peninsula on Thursday.

Snowfall amounts of 5 to 15 cm is expected. The heaviest snow is expected on the Baccalieu Trail and the northeast Avalon.

The good news is that the wind will remain light.
