A wet start to the weekend in Newfoundland

Rain is expected across Newfoundland today, with amounts of 2 to 4 mm on the Great Northern Peninsula. Corner Brook will see 5 to 10 mm, while the southwest coast will see 15 to 25 mm. For central and eastern areas, amounts of 5 mm are likely. Highs today will range between 15 and 20.


There is a chance of showers along the coast of Labrador and Labrador City, with showers for the southeast. A mix of sun and cloud is expected in Happy Valley-Goose Bay to Churchill Falls. Temperatures will range from 16 to 22.
