A wet start to the week across the province

Rain is expected today across most of Newfoundland. On the Northern Peninsula and the west coast, 5 mm is expected. 5 to 15 mm of rain will fall in Port aux Basques. Central areas will see 2 to 4 mm. There is a chance of showers this afternoon for the Burin and Avalon Peninsulas. Highs from 14 to 25 are expected.

In western Labrador, 2 to 4 mm of rain is expected. Happy Valley-Goose Bay will see 5 mm. There is a chance of showers in southeastern areas. Nain will see a mix of sun and cloud. Temperatures will range from 14 to 19.
