A wet day ahead for the province

On the Northern Peninsula, rainfall amounts of 15 mm are expected. Drizzle along the west coast will deliver about 2 to 4 mm to the area. In central Newfoundland, rainfall amounts of 10 to 20 mm are expected. For the Avalon, rainfall amounts of 10 to 15 mm are expected, and thunderstorms are possible. Highs will range from 4 to 12.


Across Labrador, 10 mm of rain is expected across Happy Valley-Goose Bay. Rainfall amounts of 5 mm are expected for Churchill Falls, and there is a chance of showers in Labrador City. Highs will range from 4 to 15.
