It will not be a nice evening on Friday for any ghosts and goblins heading out across Newfoundland and Labrador.
Along the south coast, heavy rain is expected along with winds gusting between 80 and 100 km/h. On the Northern Avalon, it will be overcast with rain, the rain will be light at first before intensifying late in the evening, and winds will gust to 100 km/h.
For central and the west coast, it will start off with cloudy skies with rain beginning late in the evening.
Rain is expected for the coastal areas of Labrador. In western Labrador, rain is expected during the day on Friday before changing to snow in the evening.
