Some flurries are expected today on the Avalon and in the Corner Brook area, with about 2 cm expected. Elsewhere, there is a risk of flurries. Highs from minus 10 to minus 3 are expected.

Across Labrador, expect sunny skies once again with highs from minus 26 to minus 17.

Looking ahead, significant snowfall and strong winds are expected for eastern Newfoundland on Christmas morning, continuing into the afternoon.

Snowfall amounts of 15+ cm are expected, and winds will gust between 60 and 80 km/h.
