Monday and Tuesday will be wet for most of the province as a cold front moves through, bringing some much-needed rain. The rain will be along the west coast and central along with southeastern Labrador, and will gradually move eastward, reaching the Avalon Peninsula by tonight.
Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday look mostly nice across the province. This weekend, we need to watch for some rain in Labrador.
Temperatures will be slightly below normal for this week across Newfoundland and Labrador.
A note on Hurricane Erin, which is roughly 170 km north-northeast of Grand Turk Island, the storm looks like it will pass southeast of Newfoundland this weekend. At this time, impacts look to be minimal, if any. There could be some impacts on marine weather.
