Saturday

An area of low pressure will move over the Avalon Peninsula on Saturday and will deliver heavy rain to parts of the province.


The heaviest rain is expected over the Avalon Peninsula through to the Burin Peninsula, north to the Bonavista Peninsula. In this area, 25 to 50 mm of rain is expected. Much of the south coast, through to Gander, will see 15 to 25 mm. West of Grand Falls-Windsor to the west coast will see 5 to 15 mm of rain.


Highs across the Island will range from 12 to 19, the coolest temperatures will be in the east and in central.


In Labrador, some showers are expected late in the day. Highs near 20 are expected.


Sunday

A mix of sun and cloud is expected across the Island with the chance of a passing shower and highs near 20.


It will be mostly cloudy across Labrador with a chance of showers. Temperatures will range from 9 to 14.


Monday

A mix of sun and cloud is expected across Newfoundland with a chance of showers and highs from 17 to 22.


A mix of sun and cloud is expected across Labrador. Temperatures from Temperatures on Labour Day will be between 14 and 24.
