Rain is expected along the south coast of the Island. Very strong winds will occur in the Wreckhouse area this morning. Cloudy skies are expected in central and eastern areas. There is a risk of showers on the Avalon Peninsula. Showers are expected in western areas of Labrador.

It will be generally fair across Newfoundland today with mostly sunny skies and highs from 4 to 17. Showers will move in for most overnight. Labrador will be fair for the most part today. In western Labrador, showers will start late this afternoon with about 2 mm expected. Highs will range from 6 to 17.
