Rain across western Labrador, nice for the remainder of the province
Some drizzle is possible this morning along the south coast but will give way to sun and cloud this afternoon; most other areas of the Island will see mostly sunny skies. Highs today will range from 20 to 27. Some rain is expected in western Labrador, with 5 to 10 mm expected in Labrador City. 2 mm is on the way to Churchill Falls. Elsewhere, conditions will be fair across the Big Land. Highs from 14 to 27 are expected.

Tropical Storm Dolly moving quickly west across Atlantic
Tropical Storm Dolly is moving quickly westward across the Atlantic, but is not currently expected to remain a tropical storm by the time it reaches the Leeward Islands. The National Hurricane Center says Dolly is located about 2,290 kilometres east of the Leeward Islands as of 5 p.m. Thursday. The storm has maximum sustained winds of 65 km/h with higher gusts and is moving west at about 39 km/h. Forecasters expect that westward motion to continue over the next couple of days

Humid weather continues across Newfoundland
Conditions will be mostly pleasant across Newfoundland today with a mix of sun and cloud expected. Highs from 18 to 26 are expected. Humidity continues to be an issue with humidex values near 30 for most areas. There is a chance of showers in Labrador today, with highs from 18 to 28.
