Sunny skies will be the theme across Newfoundland and Labrador today. Thanks to an area of high pressure located over western Quebec, we are seeing nice weather again today and a westerly flow, resulting in warm temperatures. Across Newfoundland, highs will range from 14 to 20. Labrador will see temperatures from 13 to 20.

Most of Newfoundland will see sunny skies today; there will be a few more clouds this morning on the Avalon. Highs from 11 to 15 are expected. Fair conditions are expected across Labrador, with most areas seeing sunny skies. Highs from 15 to 18 are expected.

The Department of Forestry, Agriculture and Lands is marking National Forest Week with a series of events across Newfoundland and Labrador from September 21 to 27. The events are aimed at highlighting the importance of the province's forests and giving residents an opportunity to learn more about forest resources, wildfire prevention and the forest industry.
