

Another round of snow headed for the Avalon
An area of low pressure will pass east of the Avalon Peninsula overnight and will bring snow to the area, with the heaviest snow expected to fall over the eastern half of the Avalon Peninsula. St. John's and southeastern Avalon will likely see 15 to 20 cm of snow beginning this afternoon. By Saturday afternoon, the snow should change to rain. Cloudy skies persist ahead of snow
It will be cloudy across Newfoundland today with a few sunny breaks. Snow will begin later this afternoon in St. John's with 2 to 4 cm expected. Flurries or rain showers are expected on the Great Northern Peninsula. Highs from 1 to 6 are expected. Cloudy skies are expected today.
